Who should apply to the Sales Challenge with Sparksense?
Successful candidates, based in Europe and the USA, bring a passion for entrepreneurship. They combine a solid technical understanding with strong communication skills. They do the right things with a first time right mindset. They are committed to the team and eager to learn.
What is the hiring process to join the Sparksense Team?
All candidates must participate in the Sales Challenge onboarding programme. We select the Sale challenge candidates through a targeted personal interview process. Upon successful completion of the 30-day foundation training, they will be eligible to take on part-time roles with Sparksense clients.
What is included in the 30-day foundation training?
We focus on mastering the art of tech sales, methods and processes. We make sure you understand sales and set the stage for business development. We also look at how to gather sales market intelligence for successful outreach.
What is the focus of the 60-day use case training?
In this phase, we put into practice what we have learned about core business development activities. We focus on SMART methods to get things done… efficiently. You will screen & recommend attractive tech start-ups. You will also learn methods for understanding key industry players, researching & identifying the most promising prospects.
Do I get paid during the Sales Challenge Program?
No. This is an onboarding and training programme to give you the skills you need to be successful as a Business Development Advisor. You will be paid as you join the team and work freelance with our clients.
What happens upon completion of the sales challenge?
You will receive a digital certificate of completion. You become eligible to take on a part-time role with one of our clients whenever there is a fit.
What is the overall timeline for the Sales Challenge 2024?
Application close on July 12th; Selected candidates are notified by July 26th; The Sales Challenge starts on August 5th; The foundation training ends August 30th, the use case training by October 30th.
How much time commitment is necessary to be successful?
Successful candidates to the Sales Challenge will be available at min. 2 hours per week during the program. Upon completion of the program, we will assign Clients to Advisor available part-time for a minimum duration of 6-month.
